Mrs. Kump brings over three decades of experience in elementary education, having taught students in grades Kindergarten through 6th within the public school system. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Early Childhood Education (K–8) and has completed 27 graduate credit hours toward a Master’s degree in Reading. Her extensive background in foundational literacy and early childhood development equips her to meet the diverse academic needs of young learners with both expertise and compassion.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Kump has cultivated a reputation for creating structured, engaging, and student-centered classrooms where academic excellence, personal growth, and character formation are prioritized. She is passionate about fostering critical thinking, nurturing creativity, and inspiring a lifelong love of learning in her students.
Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Kump values the importance of family. She is the proud mother of three children and a devoted grandmother to nine grandchildren, whose ages range from 7 to 19. Despite the profound loss of her youngest son three years ago, she remains grounded in faith and gratitude. She cherishes time spent with her family, especially enjoying beach trips, where she swims and boogie boards with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Kump is honored to be part of the St. Charles community and looks forward to partnering with families to support the academic and spiritual formation of her students.
