Overview
At St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School, we provide a well-rounded, faith-filled education that nurtures the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. Accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and aligned with both the Archdiocese of Santa Fe and the State of New Mexico standards, our curriculum combines strong academics with enriching classes in Art, Music, Theology, and Technology.
Serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade, we help every child discover their gifts, grow in confidence, and build a foundation for lifelong success.

CurriculumSt. Charles Catholic School provides meaningful, high-quality instruction in the spirit of Christ and in line with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Our curriculum is carefully designed using research, national standards, and a variety of resources to ensure students gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in school, college, and beyond.
Our Religion program is centered on the six tasks of catechesis, helping students connect their Catholic faith to everyday life. It emphasizes the pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Sacred Scripture, Doctrine, and Tradition, providing a strong foundation that shapes both learning and living as a Catholic.

Student Learning Expectations
Our Student Learning Expectations, or SLEs, were developed during our 2016 accreditation with the WCEA. These expecations are posted in all classrooms and are reviewed as a school each morning during our announcements. We routinely discuss our SLEs with our students and focus on how our children can best model these expectations in and outside school.
